The Salem Health & Wellness Foundation (SHWF) is seeking to fill three open seats on its Board of Trustees. We have created a Position Description that describes the duties and responsibilities, general functions and minimum knowledge, skills, and experience required of our board members.

The Salem Health & Wellness Foundation is a public charity established in 2002 with the proceeds of the sale of a not-for profit hospital to a for-profit healthcare organization. The Foundation makes grants, provides financial assistance and engages in charitable health care purposes which support, assist and develop the health and wellness of residents of Salem County, NJ. Grants totaling $4.1 million have been distributed since January 2004. SHWF has an unrestricted asset base of $25 million, which will increase to approximately $32 million over the next five years.
